Summary

  • SnoBase now syncs distributor sales data into your retailer pipeline.

  • Status, distributor and DC each retailer pulls from, and how many store locations have ordered each SKU updates automatically.

  • Your pipeline can now be a real reflection of the market, not a static list.

What’s New in SnoBase

What

Example of distributor data syncing in action

SnoBase now uses distributor sales data to update three key pieces of your retailer records automatically:

  1. Pipeline status — moves from PROSPECTIVE or APPROVED to CURRENT when our smart scan detects sales at the retailer.

  2. Distributor and DC mapping — identifies which distributor(s) and distribution centers a retailer orders through.

  3. Store-level performance — counts how many store locations have ordered, down to the SKU level.

Why

  • Distributor data is transaction level truth for what’s actually happening in the market.

  • By syncing it directly into your retailer view, SnoBase eliminates guesswork and gives you operational visibility that used to take three reports, five emails, and a phone call or two to piece together.

  • Your pipeline now shows where the business really lives: who’s ordering, through whom, and too how many locations.

How

  • During each data pipeline sync, SnoBase aggregates recent sales activity and updates retailer records using our mapping algorithm.

  • Statuses change automatically, distributors and DCs are matched, and store counts roll up by SKU.

  • It all happens in the background, with no manual input or configuration.

  • Your team can still input manually, but now they can compare those assumptions to demonstrated sales data.

What We’re Thinking About

Distributor data is the most underused asset in a brand’s toolkit. We’re thinking about ways to make it cleaner, more connected, and more useful in everyday decisions.
